City of Port Wentworth Office Expansion

C. Merrill Construction is leading the expansion of the Port Wentworth City Hall with a two-story, 7,000 sq ft. addition designed to support the city’s growing operational needs. The project includes new office spaces, conference rooms, and gathering areas for city staff, all connected directly to the existing occupied City Hall facility. Constructed using a wood-framed structure, the addition is carefully integrated into the active government building, requiring precise coordination to minimize disruption to daily operations.

The ongoing collaboration between C. Merrill Construction and the City of Port Wentworth focuses on enhancing the design without compromising the project budget. With a scheduled completion, this addition will provide much-needed space and flexibility for municipal operations while supporting the city’s continued growth.
