Jasper County Athletic Complex

C. Merrill Construction proudly delivered the Jasper County Athletic Complex: a state-of-the-art facility designed to serve as the central hub for all high school athletic programs within Jasper County, SC. The project scope included new parking lots and bus loops, modern concession stands and restrooms, a synthetic turf field, an all-weather rubberized track, full track and field event facilities, grandstands, and press boxes. This high-visibility project not only enhances the county’s athletic infrastructure but also brings together multiple schools under one centralized venue to promote equity, community engagement, and school pride.

Midway through construction, the county added over $1 million in upgraded facilities through change orders. Despite the expanded scope, C. Merrill Construction delivered the project on schedule. Our ability to maintain progress was in large part due to our strategic partnership with our sister company, Preferred Site Construction, which allowed us to maintain tight control over both the construction schedule and the quality of site development. The Jasper County Athletic Complex stands as a model of teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to excellence in public works construction.
