New Covenant Church is a completed 10,000+ square foot expansion project in Statesboro, GA, designed to support a growing congregation with a strong emphasis on youth programming and community outreach.
C. Merrill Construction partnered early with the church’s nonprofit leadership to guide budget planning, constructability, and long-term vision. Working closely with DPR Architecture, the team delivered a modern, functional facility tailored to the church’s mission through a collaborative and transparent process.
The pre-engineered building features metal stud interior framing and a stucco exterior finish. Interior spaces include dedicated youth ministry areas and a daycare center, while exterior amenities consist of a covered playground, a modern patio, and an outdoor basketball court.
Despite site challenges and coordination requirements with the City of Statesboro, the project was successfully completed through proactive problem-solving and strong communication, resulting in a facility that will serve the church and surrounding community for years to come.
